Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cams Installation - 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander- Video

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here etrailer.com and today we are looking at our Titan chain snow tire chains with V-Bar links and cams here on our 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. These are awesome chains if you have extreme, extreme weather conditions and a lot of ice and you need very heavy duty tire chains to really give you that traction you need. So, these tire chains are really good with extreme ice because they have these V-Bar studs. Some people call them cleats, and these really grip into that ice and gives you that superior traction. Now, if you don't have as extreme, extreme weather conditions, like more snow than ice, I recommend picking up the same type of tire chains but without the V-studs. These are ladder style chains with twist links and they are made of a low grade carbon steel just to help keep them sturdy and strong in extreme weather conditions. more

The chains themselves are made of a low carbon steel which means that they are nice and sturdy. They also are shaped in these twist links which will help limit jarring as compared to your bulkier chains. This chain has a diamond pattern, which covers a little bit more of your tire than the traditional ladder-style chains, which means it's also compatible with your ABS systems. more
